Privacy notice

Spread Love (spreadlove.site) shares good news and true stories of kindness. This notice says what we do with your details when you share a story with us.

What we collect

When you share a story, we get your name, your email address and your story. That is all. You do not need an account, and this site uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your story to publish it on this site, because you ticked the box to agree. We use your name and email only to contact you about your story. We never publish your email address. We may show your first name with your story; if you would rather stay anonymous, say so when you send it.

Where it is kept

Your story is emailed to our moderator and a copy is kept with our web host, Hostinger. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while we look after your story, and delete them when you ask us to. A published story stays on the site unless you ask us to take it down.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them, and you can take back your agreement to publish at any time. Email info@spreadlove.site. If you are unhappy with how we have used your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
